  • NAME
wiplcInetd - inetd server used by wiplJava.
  • SYNOPSIS
      wiplcInetd [ -d daemonfile ] counterlist
  • DESCRIPTION
This program is supposed to be called from the inetd daemon and you will need to append a line to /etc/inetd.conf to accomplish this.
When called, it will connect to the wipld daemon. The client connecting to this program, will then be able to read counters from the daemon. The client can only read the counters specified by the counterlist argument. This argument has the same format as described in the wiplcSimple(1) man page. Furthermore it can only read counters associated with it's own IP address though this fact should not be relied on for security.
  • OPTIONS
      -d daemonfile --daemon daemonfile
Connect to the daemon through the file daemonfile
  • FILES
      /etc/wipld.conf
      Default daemonfile.
