  • NAME
      fondu - converts a series of Mac font files into equivalent UNIX font files
  • SYNOPSIS
      fondu [ options ] files ...
  • DESCRIPTION
      Fondu reads a series of Mac font files, checks their resource forks and extracts all font-related items into seperate files. Innput files may be either MacBinary files (.bin), BinHex files (.hqx), bare Mac resource forks or data fork resource files (.dfont, used by Mac OS X).
  • OPTIONS
      A summary of options is included below.
      -force
      Do not ask about replacing existing files.
      -inquire
      Ask about writing each file, whether it exists or not. Overrides -force.
      -latin1
      Change the encoding of NFNTs to ISO Latin 1 (8859-1). If not specified, encoding will be left as MacRoman.
      -afm
      Generate an incomplete afm file from any FONDS.
      -trackps
      Load and process any PostScript resource files referenced by FONDs.
      -show
      Do not tell about each file created.
